Paulson Tharapatla, Vice President

Executive Committee of SAAA

 


Paulson Tharapatla, was born to Pastor & Mrs. T. PrakasamatNarsapur, Andhra Pradesh and attended Flaiz Memorial High School, formerly known as Narsapur SDA High School. After completing high school, he went to Spicer Memorial College and completed Bachelor degree in Business Administration. While studying 7th class at Narsapurschool, he developed special interest for Muriel Moses which, through the years, became stronger until it blossomed into romance, courtship and finally marriage.

After graduating from Spicer College, he worked in Western India Union office in Bombay as cashier/accountant for about 2 ½ years. In 1970, he married his high school sweetheart and moved to the United States a year later. God blessed them with two children, Manoj and Manjula. Since coming to the US, he has been a member of the Southern Asia Adventist Association. In the 1980’s he served as the assistant treasurer and in the 1990’s as Religious Committee member. He worked with many non-profit organizations as director of finance or controller.

Currently, he is employed as the controller for an organization on climate strategies in Washington, DC. He has been the treasurer, chairman of the finance committee and an elder for Burnt Mills SDA Church for the past 14 years. Now he serves as the Vice President for SAAA.
